A minor Hausa state in far northwestern Nigeria, encompassing both sides of the Nigeria/Niger frontier - the modern village of Kwararap is about 2½ miles (4 km.) inside Nigeria, roughly 68 miles (110 km.) west-northwest of Sokoto. Also called Jukun or Kwararap.
